This hotel is in a central location with convenient parking right across the square, and the friendly and welcoming staff really make you feel at home.

Do recommend this place and will be back. It was a cosy base for our very lovely stay. The property was in the heart of the city.

I came to Askrigg for a longer stay - everything was excellent. The room was huge and reasonably spacious with bathroom, the staff were kind! Its location in Askrigg was stunning and marvellous, near restaurants, good local walks, Bolton Castle and beautiful waterfalls and North Yorkshire. No complains at all, enjoyed this place and 100% recommend.

The bedroom was luxurious and spacious. The staff was helpful and welcoming, making our stay a wonderful experience. The location was stunning, right in the heart of the village! It was also conveniently close to the beautiful church and other village attractions as well as North Yorkshire.

I had a lovely time at Sykes House. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hearty breakfasts, featuring homemade bread and granola, were a real treat. The location was also beautiful, adding to the overall experience. I appreciated every minute spent there and would definitely recommend it.

The room was quite spacious, and you could even see the church from there 🏰. the breakfast was really good, tasty, and came at a great price.

Stayed here for four nights. the location was absolutely stunning! the breakfast was savory and hot, and they even had homemade biscuits. Couldn't find a single thing to complain about during our stay. It was a really enjoyable experience! 😊
